How old is a Kohler & Campbell piano with serial #532383 and what is the power cord for?

I just purchase a used Kohler and Campbell console piano and was curious as to it's age. Also, there's a power cord coming from inside the piano but I can't figure out what it's for. I've followed the cord with my hand and it's definitely attached to something, but short of taking the piano apart, I don't know what. Perhaps a humidifier? The piano is in Florida. Thanks in advance for any info!|||The power cord is almost certainly attached to a Dammp Chaser http://www.pianolifesaver.com/ a humidity regulation device. I don't know the age, and I'm not really interested in looking it up -- age really makes little difference. K%26amp;C is historically a lower cost piano often intended for utilitarian purposes such as school music rooms, practice rooms, churches. US made K%26amp;C pianos were lower cost mostly for lack of adornment, not because they were cheaply made. Samick-made K%26amp;Cs come from China or Indonesia. I don't believe they are a product of the S. Korean plant.
