Is the Kohler quality the same at big box stores as at retail stores?

Yes.


It's the same product at both places.


It might seem like retail stores have better quality because the products are usually set up and displayed nicely, whereas the big box stores many times don't, but it's the exact same product.|||I can only give you my opinion based on the numerous Kohler faucets in our house. I believe the quality is exactly the same if you buy the model by number as it is displayed on the Kohler website.





As a matter of interest you can usually buy most Kohler items online from several dealers at prices competitive with the big box stores. We are getting ready to update our kitchen and have identified a Kohler faucet that we want. We are getting it for about 40% less than the Kohler recommended price and exactly the same price as a friend got one for. According to the friend their price is suppose to be the wholesale price given to builders.
